The Precious Hands
Activities
The first results of our activity in the structure has
been a number of 127 people visited in July 2003 and a
medium of 100 people visited monthly.
We preview this number will increase in future.
Another important result is the preparation and seeding
of the first camp destinated to agriculture of maize and
wheat.
It is important for a relative food autonomy of the
Centre as like for being an incentive for local people to
remain in their territory working for its develop.
This camp in fact has more than one sense:
- it rends possible the actuation of concepts like Bank
of Time (who cannot pay for medical assistance, when has
been healed works in the camp in change for the medical
assistance he received);
- it helps the connection between local people and the
Centre, but overall between local people themselves and
their living place.
In this optic we are looking forward with hope to the
opening of the second camp.
